ABOUT STEADFAST CHURCH
Leading people to the revelation of Jesus by equipping and empowering the Saints to become an effective part of the unified Body AS THE DAY APPROACHES.
We recognize the five-fold ministries discussed by Apostle Paul in Ephesians 4:11-16 as the way to build the church today and to send out those ready to operate in their office. To be an effective part of the body, we aim to train, equip, and disciple every person who makes Steadfast Church their home church in their office.
At Steadfast Church, you’ll be trained to lead with reverence. You’ll serve with a community committed to growing in their calling. We expect every ministry leader to be effective in their work.
Steadfast Church is part of the Assemblies of God Hawaii District (AG Hawaii). In addition to the mission and vision given to the Church, we also partner closely with our Assemblies of God ohana.
Our Vision
-
We are nothing without Jesus. He was born of a virgin, walked our sod, and died on a cross to pay for the sins of man. Three days later, He rose from the dead conquering death forever. He appeared to the disciples and to others before ascending into heaven to sit at God’s right hand. Jesus is coming back for a spotless bride and we are getting ready for His imminent return.
-
We believe that the miracles presented in the Bible can and still happen today. We believe that the five fold gift ministries talked about in Ephesians 4:11 are made manifest within those who love God to guide, encourage, correct, and instruct the church into righteous living.
-
It says so in 2 Timothy 3:16-17. We speak and believe all that is written in the Bible and know that there is no contradiction, error, or hidden word that has not been revealed that will guide the Church today.
-
We believe everyone grows best when they’re rooted in a church family. That’s why at Steadfast, we don’t want people to just attend. We want them to belong. We value being under spiritual covering, which means making a local church your home, building real relationships, and serving together as one body. Our heart is to help every person who comes to Steadfast find their place, connect with others, and grow in a healthy, supported community of faith.
-
When you come to Steadfast, you’ll walk into a room full of people who genuinely love Jesus and aren’t afraid to show it. Our worship is passionate and expressive. You might see people singing loud, dancing foolishly, lifting their hands, or even praying at the altar. We believe Jesus is worth giving our whole hearts to. And if you show up on a 1st Sunday of the month, we’ll be doing Communion together.
Our messages are honest, bold, and practical. Sometimes they challenge you, sometimes they encourage you, but they always point you back to Jesus and how He wants to work in your real, everyday life.
We’re also a church that believes in doing life together. You won’t just be another face in the crowd. We love taking time to get to know people, pray with them, and walk alongside them. And yes, generosity matters to us, because we believe God uses it to bring hope and help to others.
Come as you are. You don’t have to have it all together, just be open to encountering Jesus and being part of a family that’s learning to follow Him together.
-
Service times start at 10:00am and go until about 12:00pm.
-
Honestly, be yourself. We only ask that you are modest and appropriate for the church setting as we also have keiki (kids) who attend service. We welcome attendees as casual as swim shorts, t-shirts, beanies, hats and piercings, and those who dress more formal in slacks, jackets, dress shoes, and the like.
-
Our address is 91-371 Komohana Place, Unit 112, Kapolei, HI, 96707. However, we know that Apple Maps doesn’t do a good job at directing people to the right place.
We are located behind Costco in Kapolei at the left turn of where Cash and Carry/7-Eleven is located. As you go down that road, you will pass Inspire Church’s new location. Keep going down until you see the Papé building. Take a left there. Go down that road and take the 4th right turn into the warehouse buildings. Drive all the way down and park in the stalls directly in front of the building. You’ll see flags and signs as you arrive on a Sunday and our Hospitality team will greet you outside.
-
The church is filled with young adults/adults and youth. We just seem to attract more of this crowd, but we also honor and hope that the kupuna (older generation) fills our seats.
And don’t worry, you aren’t expected to be like the rest of our radical young adults.
